This case not only protects my phone (already dropped it), but has a flat ring on back that allows my cell to stand vertically or horizontally. I like the flat ring because it keeps my phone still slim enough to fit in pockets, purse , etc. My last cell had a ring stand attached to my cover but it added to the bulk. I also like the color, kind of a rose gold.
